October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and it is important to know that domestic violence is a serious issue.
To show support and raise awareness for domestic violence victims and survivors, please join Alexandra House on Thursday, October 15th for Wear Purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Day, also known as #PurpleThursday. This day encourages people to wear purple as a symbol of support and a reminder that victims and survivors are not alone and that they matter.
Participating is simple; wear as much or as little purple as possible and share photos on social media using the hashtags #PurpleThursday, #AlexandraHouse, #DVAM2026, #MNSaysNoMore, and #EndDV.
