HopeFest 2026
Join us for HopeFest 2026, Alexandra House’s annual community event, as we kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month this fall! HopeFest is a powerful gathering to raise awareness, remember those we have lost, and honor the courage of survivors.
Together, we’ll walk, celebrate, and stand united against domestic and sexual violence. The event features a brief program, a 1+ mile walk, the crowd-favorite Kidz Dash, and a lively Kidz Zone with a balloon twister, face painter, and games. Plus, connect with community partners at our vendor and exhibitor resource fair.
Your participation helps raise critical funds that ensure survivors have access to safety, advocacy, and the resources they need to heal and thrive.
We can’t wait to see you there — to stand together, to celebrate resilience, and to remind survivors that they are never alone. Because when we come together, we create a future filled with hope.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 through HopeFest to ensure Alexandra House is here when a victim/survivor turns to us for safety, support, and hope. We are looking forward to seeing you at Anoka City Hall Plaza/Riverfront Memorial Park Saturday, September 26, for HopeFest! Here are a few details to make your Saturday smoother:
Parking
There is plenty of FREE parking (see map) including street parking in Anoka.
- NOTE: There is limited ADA-accessible parking north of the City Hall parking lot by Riverfront Memorial Park and will be marked.
Activities
- Enjoy the 30+ sponsor, vendor, and exhibitor booths
- Stop by Red's Savoy for a delicious slice of cheese, pepperoni, or breakfast (sausage and gravy) pizza
- Kidz Dash for kids ages 3-10 will be at 10:30 am
- Back by popular demand: Lego Competition for kids 4-13 will be at 9:30 am
- 1+ Mile walk begins at 11 am
- Alexandra House will sell branded charcoal zipper hoodies, baseball caps, our Domestic Violence Awareness Month yard signs, purple strand lights, lightbulbs, and buttons.
