Alexandra House will be hosting its 13th Annual Walk for Hope on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Bunker Hills Regional Park in Andover, MN. The purpose of Walk for Hope event is to raises awareness about – and take steps to end domestic and sexual violence. The event also raise much needed funds which to support Alexandra House’s comprehensive services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Please save the date and plan to join us to help every family to live free from violence.
The 13th Annual Walk for Hope will feature a community resource fair, kidz zone, healthy refreshments for all participants, a rousing Zumba warm-up, remarks by public officials, and brief keynote address.
Registration: 8:00 – 9:00 am
Kidz Zone & 8:00 – 11:00 am
Event Kick-Off: 9:00 am
5K Run (1st wave): 9:30 am
2M Walk (2nd wave): 9:40 am
$40 for adults
$15 for children ages 11-18
Kids 10 and younger attend free!
Registration fees are non-refundable. Walk for Hope t-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by Thursday, August 31.
In the event you experience difficulties during the registration process, please refer to our Walk for Hope Registration and Donate Guide. The guide has step-by-step directions to assist individuals who are registering or making a donation (sponsoring) a walker/runner. If you are registering a child who does not have an email address, please download our Walk for Hope Registration Form and email or mail it in with your payment. An Alexandra House staff member would be happy to register your child.
