Connie Moore

Executive Director

Read Bio

Connie Moore first joined Alexandra House as Criminal Justice Intervention Program Coordinator in 1988. Connie has 40 years of experience in the nonprofit field and has served on several county, state, and national initiatives, providing leadership in advocating and creating public policies addressing the needs of domestic and sexual violence victims and economically disadvantaged families. She became the Executive Director of Alexandra House in June 2001.

Margaret Anderson

Director of Operations

Margaret Andersen has more than 38 years of experience in human resources and office administration.  Before joining Alexandra House as Administrative Director in 2001, she held several positions at various financial institutions, including branch manager, licensed life insurance agent, and Series 6/63 securities broker.  Throughout her tenure with Alexandra House, she has assumed varying roles, including oversight of the overall operations of the organization, overseeing several major renovation projects at the shelter, and, most recently, purchasing an additional Alexandra House property in Andover, MN.  Margaret resides in Coon Rapids with her husband, two children, and their spouses (who also reside in Anoka County).  She is the proud grandmother of 5 granddaughters and one grandson.   

Tina Bronson

Director of Mission Advancement

Tina Bronson joined Alexandra House in June 2014. Tina has over 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector, focusing on capacity building through long-term charitable contributions, marketing, communications, and public awareness campaigns. Before joining Alexandra House, she held Communications, Development, and Marketing roles at non-profit organizations, such as Cancer Support Community – Arizona, YWCA Maricopa County, Banner Health Foundation, Curry County United Way in New Mexico, and the Greater Twin Cities United Way. Tina resides in Anoka County with her husband and two children. 

Jenny Green

Director of Housing and Supportive Services

Jenny began her work with Alexandra House, Inc. in 1991 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota.  She has served in various roles at Alexandra House and has been serving as the Housing and Supportive Services Director since 2001. During her tenure, Jenny served in a number of capacities, from providing advocacy to youth residing in the emergency shelter to supervising shelter staff, before becoming the Housing and Supportive Services Director in 2001.  She oversees the emergency shelter, follow-up services, support groups, and aging services. With a commitment and passion for helping families sustain a life without violence, Jenny has been instrumental in obtaining funding that assists homeless families who have been victims of domestic violence to obtain permanent housing. Jenny is an active member of numerous committees that address homelessness, both at a county and statewide level including Heading Home Anoka, Anoka County FHPAP Advisory Committee, and the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless.

Sue Redmond

Director of Program Development

Sue Redmond has worked on behalf of victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence for nearly 30 years. A graduate of St. Catherine University with a degree in Social Work, Sue has extensive experience in project management, program development, grant writing, and multidisciplinary collaboration. She was integrally involved in developing the capacity, programming, and infrastructure that supported Alexandra House’s shift from stand-alone domestic violence to a dual domestic and sexual violence organization in 2009 and has served on numerous committees, task forces, and councils over the years.

Wendy Lundgren

Operations Manager

Wendy Lundgren has been a part of Alexandra House since 1998. With diverse experience in IT support, accounts payable, and office administration, she has held various roles within the organization over the past 25 years. In 2023, Wendy became the Operations Manager and continues contributing to the organization's success. Wendy resides in Sherburne County and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, listening to music, and watching movies.

Jane St. Marie

Housing and Supportive Services Manager

Read Bio

Jane St. Marie joined Alexandra House in 1999 after completing her Counseling Degree at Metropolitan State University. She started as a direct service Relief Staff Advocate and moved into various positions before becoming the Housing and Supportive Services Manager. For the past 20 years, she has specialized in working with victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Her passion is in supporting those who have experienced trauma and in working with community members to end the violence. Since 2005 Jane has been a member of the Anoka County Children’s Mental Health Advisory Council and is also a member of various committees within the Metro area.

Emma Field

Legal Advocacy Supervisor

Read Bio

Emma Field is the Legal Advocacy Supervisor for Alexandra House. She is new to the position at Alexandra House but comes with a background of just over 5 years’ experience within the Domestic/Sexual Violence field. Prior to joining Alexandra House, she worked within the Domestic Abuse Office of the 2nd Judicial Branch (Ramsey County). Before that, she worked as the Child and Youth Coordinator for a different dual domestic/sexual violence agency. She has ample experience in advocacy, program development, community collaboration, and crisis intervention. With a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, Emma has made a commitment to social justice, equity, and advocacy for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

 

Justine Nash

HR Generalist

Read Bio

Justine Nash started as a volunteer for Alexandra House in 2019 and quickly transitioned to a Relief Staff member. She recently returned to Alexandra House as HR Generalist in the Spring of 2023. She has a wide variety of experience in leadership, human resources, and administrative work over the last ten years. Justine is excited to share her knowledge and experiences in this role and partner with Alexandra House. She is finishing her Human Resource Management and Psychology degree through Metropolitan State. She resides in Anoka County and enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering.

Heidi Kopischke

Shelter and Supportive Services Supervisor

Read Bio

Heidi Kopischke started her advocacy role working with children at Alexandra House. Over the past 19 years, she has served as a childcare provider, shelter advocate, legal advocate, Healthcare Coordinator, and Shelter and Supportive Services Coordinator. She has also worked as the West Metro Regional Navigator with trafficked youth at Cornerstone and the Link. During this time, she facilitated numerous trainings and presentations and started the position at Cornerstone. She has served as a member on several county and community-level committees, providing leadership in helping advocate for public policies that address the needs of victims of domestic and sexual violence.

Noah Shepard

Youth Services Supervisor

Read Bio

Noah Shepard has 20 years of experience serving youth with dignity, integrity, and compassion. He has worked for nonprofit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Family Pathways. He is also a licensed teacher who educated students at NE Metro 916 and Saint Paul Public Schools. Noah likes music, movies, travel, art, sports, nature, and spending time with his family.

Alexandra House, Inc. is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors. Our board members bring a wide variety of professional and personal experience, ranging from legal knowledge to financial expertise, representing faith groups, survivors, and law enforcement, and offering insights into nonprofit management and education. Through their wide-ranging experiences, our Board of Directors steers the organization toward success. Thanks to their diverse knowledge and professional backgrounds, each member comes at an idea, issue, or need from a unique perspective.
