Walk for Hope

On
Saturday, September 28, 2013, Alexandra House will hold the ninth annual Walk for Hope to raise awareness about
domestic and sexual violence. The walk is a family and pet-friendly event with the option of a 5k run or 2 mile walk through the beautiful trails at Bunker Hills Regional Park.
Sponsorship Opportunities: As a sponsor, you can demonstrate your commitment to ending violence in this community. Sponsors receive complimentary registrations for the event, great promotional opportunities, and the satisfaction of knowing that they are making a difference in the lives of individuals and families. Learn by downloading our sponsorship materials, or by contacting at 763-656-1368.
Registration: Online event registration opens in mid-July. If you're already on our mailing list, you'll receive a reminder when registration has opened to the public. You can sign up for our mailing list now, to ensure that you receive all of the updates for the walk!
Fundraising: Increase your impact! Individuals and teams can create fundraising pages to support Alexandra House through the Walk for Hope. Customized fundraising pages make it easy to promote the walk through email and social media. Not tech-savvy? We can walk you through the process via phone or email (or mail you a paper pledge form). Fundraising pages will be available mid-July.
Share your Story! We want to hear about what inspires you to walk. Over the next few months, we’ll feature your stories about what inspires you to Walk for Hope. Maybe it is a family member, a friend, or even someone whose story you read in the newspaper. Maybe you find inspiration in your own strength and survival, or in the hopes that the next generation will not have to experience violence. – anything that shows us what inspires you to walk. Submissions can be be posted anonymously, upon the author's request. Later in the summer, we’ll be sharing these submissions via social media along with stories from our staff, volunteers and community partners. We can’t wait to hear from you!
